Navaratri is one of the most significant and sacred festivals celebrated by Hindus. Traditionally, four Navaratris are observed throughout the year, among which Sharada Navaratri, celebrated during the Tamil month of Purattasi, holds special significance. Navaratri is a sacred period dedicated to Ambika, the Divine Mother, when devotees invite Her into their homes and hearts to worship Her with devotion, faith, and reverence.

Festival Dates & Schedule

This year, Sharada Navaratri will be celebrated from Sunday, 11 October 2026 to Tuesday, 20 October 2026:

  • Start Date: The festival begins on Prathama Tithi, following Mahalaya Amavasya.
  • End Date: Observances continue through Dashami Tithi.
  • Duration: The festival encompasses nine sacred nights and ten days of divine worship and spiritual observance.
  •

Sacred Rituals at Sreemadam Sri Balapeedam

At Sreemadam Sri Balapeedam, Navaratri is celebrated with devotion and grandeur throughout all ten days. The following rituals are performed every morning and evening as part of the sacred celebrations:

  • Deeparadhana: Ritual offering of sacred light during morning and evening worship.

Divine Invitation

Devotees are warmly invited to participate in these divine celebrations and seek the blessings of Sri BalaTripurasundari for peace, prosperity, spiritual strength, and well-being. May the Divine Mother Sri BalaTripurasundari bless everyone with Her divine grace and compassion.
