Sreemadam Sri Bala Peedam is a sacred spiritual centre founded by Geetha Amma and Murali under the divine grace of Sri Balatripurasundari Ambal and Sadguru Sri Sadasiva Brahmendral. ThirumalaiKodi Sripuram Sri Sakthi Amma was visiting when Maha Pushkarani was taking place on the Thamirabarani River. Then Dr.L.Mahadevan had brought Sri Sakthi Amma to his house. At that time Sri Sakthi Amma had visited SreeMadam. SriVidya devotee Dr.K.Chidambaram paid homage to PurnaKumbha and welcomed Sri Sakthi Amma.
The Sri Sakthi Amma performed pooja at the shrine and then Muralidharan and his wife Geetha paid obeisance to Sri Sakthi Amma at the Shrine. Then Siva Muralidharan was preached b Sri Sakthi Amma. Sri Sakthi Amma's the Holy Saffron offerings were given to the devotees and they gave blessings. Hundreds of devotees had come to the SreeMadam to pay their respect to Sri Sakthi Amma.
