Pournami, the full moon day, is considered an auspicious day for prayer, devotion and spiritual worship. At Sreemadam Sri Balapeedam, situated in Derisanamcope village, Pournami Pooja is observed with traditional rituals and devotional practices dedicated to the Divine Mother.

The Pournami observance brings devotees together in a sacred atmosphere to offer prayers, participate in special poojas and receive the blessings of the Divine Mother.
